Social Proper is a stationery company based in Baltimore, MD. This e-commerce site design will allow for them to expand their business online.
The home page of the store is designed to be clean and minimal, allowing for the stationery to sell itself. A custom banner announcing their arrival was placed for the launch. The footer includes a newsletter subscription touchpoint, product rss feed and twitter link.
The individual item pages were customized to take up the entire width of the site. Wellmade also wrote the quirky product descriptions.
The cart section of the site was customized to include a thank you message from the seller. Also, the cart itself was customized to include an image of the product for sale so as to remind the buyer of what exactly they’re buying.
Social Proper is seeking to expand into the wholesale business. Therefore, outside of the contact page, Wellmade included a second form for interested retailers to fill out.
